Public Announcement Concerning Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center 1801 Turnpike Street North Andover, MA 01845

On September 3, 2026, the Department of Public Health, Division of Health Care Facility Licensure and Certification (the “Department”) received notification of a proposed change of ownership of Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center, 1801 Turnpike Street North Andover, MA 01845 (the “Facility”). The proposed new owner, Andover Forest Operating LLC, with an address at 1869 Craig Park Court, St. Louis, MO 63146, if deemed suitable by the Department, intends to acquire the nursing home operations from the current operator, Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center LLC, with an address at 82 Wendell Ave., Ste. 100, Pittsfield, MA 01201. There will be no changes in the bed capacity or the services currently provided by the Facility. A public hearing may be requested upon a petition by any group of 10 adults. Such petition shall include the name, address, and signature of each adult and must designate one member as a representative of the group. Written comments concerning the Facility’s ability to provide quality long-term care services, and petitions for a public hearing, may be addressed to the Department of Public Health, Division of Health Care Facility Licensure and Certification, Suitability Review Office, 67 Forest Street, Marlborough, MA 01752, or submitted electronically to HFLLicenseAction@mass.gov, for a period of 14 days following this publication. All written or oral comments submitted to the Department may be posted on the Department’s website and released in response to a request for public records.
